Description

The K-2SO Imperial Security Droid 3D model for 3D printing is inspired by the design used by the Galactic Empire. As part of the Empire’s armed forces, this intimidating droid was created for patrol, enforcement, and combat missions. The 3D model can become a striking addition to your sci-fi 3D printing collection or a unique piece for tabletop gaming scenarios.

Kay 3D model is available in two versions: assembly and static. The static version consists of a single STL file that is 3D printed using support for overhangs. The assembly version is split into 16 separate pieces for an easier 3D printing process and less support use during its 3D printing. The parts are numbered to facilitate the 3D model’s assembly. Watch the video by clicking the video icon at the far right of the model’s picture slider. K-2SO comes on a support base.

The 3D model is created in Autodesk Maya modeling program. The STL files are checked and corrected in Netfabb. The 3D model is high-poly and made solid. You can easily handle it in any slicing program. Follow the printing guidelines provided on the 3D model’s page for accurate results.

Kay 3D model is tested in CURA 2.3.1 slicing program.

After being 3D printed, the 3D printing figurine will stand 82 mm wide, 178 mm tall and 69 mm deep.

Buy K-2SO 3D Models by clicking the Buy button. Continue to checkout. Provide your PayPal or credit card details. The files will download in a .zip folder. You will find a PDF for the printing details in the folder as well.

Don’t own a 3D printer? Use 3DHubs of Treatstock 3D printing services to 3D print the model. Select the files you want to print and click the Print with 3DHubs or Print with Treatstock buttons on the model’s page.
